Romanticizing Life
The simple joys of a fun scenario

Romanticizing life:
Sometimes before making a decision,
More often than not a stupid or impulsive one,
I always ask myself the same questions…
What would my viewers want?
What would my viewers think?
Who are my viewers rooting for?
You see the thing is,
I like to sometimes imagine that my life is TV show
And a sit-com at that because of its chaotic and entertaining nature
It has all of the iconic elements too:
Love, close friendships, and witty humor
But best of all, unexpected plot twists
Usually caused by the main character,
Who is… well you guessed it
Me!
“Do It for The Plot”
That would probably be the title of my hit TV show
The phrase I use to justify my somewhat impulsive actions at times (all the time)
The viewers watch,
Waiting, plotting, and guessing my next move
Nothing to do but keep them on the edge of their seats I suppose
Who will she date next?
What will she write next?
Wait… did she really just say that?
Wow…
Ok, maybe he deserved that?
Oh, yeah he definitely did
What a jerk, thank god he’s the ex now
The viewers say,
Naturally
For I would never say that, no certainly not
Sometimes the sit-com strategy is just the way to go
Simple yet effective
Surely a perfectly normal and imaginative scenario, right?
Well either way, I find it amusing
And hey, a little fun and whimsy never hurt anyone
After all, life it too short, so might as well romanticize it anyway
